Jamsan Management is New England based hotel & asset management company, which is recognized by its investors, franchisers and clients as quality intensive. Jamsan owns & manages a wide variety of properties in the North East United States. They work with all the leading national brands such as Hilton, Marriott International, Choice Hotels, Best Western International and Intercontinental Hotel Group to provide a unique lodging solution for the greater New England region.
The Challenge
Financial reporting depended on manual SQL queries and Excel consolidation. Scattered operational and financial data across multiple databases. Audit and compliance teams required role-based visibility. Report preparation was slow and prone to errors.
The Solution
- Consolidated property and financial data into Amazon RDS (SQL Server).
- Connected QuickSight directly to RDS with scheduled incremental refresh.
- Developed financial KPI dashboards (revenue, occupancy, expenses, portfolio performance).
- Implemented Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce role-based access for executives, managers, and auditors.
- Enabled forecasting and anomaly detection with QuickSight ML Insights.
